Coamo, PR, USA February 8, 2015
A good day for Posso Sports athletes in the 52nd edition of the "Maraton San Blas" in Coamo, Puerto Rico.
Kimutai Kiplimo of Kenya repeated his second place finish of 2014, while his team mate Sylas Kimutai Chebogel took third in his first attempt at the hot, hilly and humid event. And in 9th place, continuing a remarkable string of top 10 finishes in races of the highest level, and coming in as first non-Kenyan to the finish, was Jeffrey Eggleston of the USA.
In the women's competition Posso Sports athletes went 4/5/6 with Innes Melchor of Peru taking fourth from Carolina Tabares of Colombia and Angelina Mutuku of Kenya.

The San Blas Half Marathon stands as a true test of endurance and spirit. Long-distance running pushes athletes to confront both physical and mental limits, requiring resilience and preparation. Each step reflects determination, and every finish line becomes a personal victory. Much like running, success often comes down to pacing yourself and making smart choices along the way.
