Posso Sports newcomer, Geoffrey Kenisi Bundi of Kenya, scored an upset victory in the Bay to Breakers 12K. Based in Kenya, Geoffrey broke from the field near the crest of the Hayes Street Hill and cruised to a 200m victory in 35:09 over Emmanuel Bor and Kipruto Kochei, both of Kenya.
Posso Sports' team of Eritreans also scored solid results in the first competition in the USA. On the women's side, Nazret Weldo led the way, claiming 4th place while her teammates Letekidan Gebreaman and Luula Berhane claimed 6th and 7th respectively. And 18-year-old Afewerki Berhane took fourth place in a deep men's field.
